SANTO DOMINGO.- The Public Ministry recaptured a man who After December 15, 2025, he escaped from a court in MocaEspaillat province, where he was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the death of a man and a girl, on October 11, 2021.
The tax attorney Andry Delos Santoshead of Ucaprec, executed a search warrant and arrested a house in Nisibón, in La Altagracia, Orlando Fabián Ángeles (Orlandito), processed together with Juan Óscar Castillo Acevedo (Nuno), sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The file details that the defendants appeared on board motorcycles to José María Rodríguez street, of Mocha, Espaillat, at approximately 9:15 p.m., carrying illegal firearms.
Under these circumstances, they proceeded to fire around 30 shots, which claimed the life of an 8-year-old girl and a Rafael Cervantes Jorge Peña.
A criminal penalty of 30 years in prison and payment of compensation of RD$4 million for the crime was imposed on Fabián Ángeles. Collegiate Court of the Judicial District of Espaillat which found him guilty of criminal association, voluntary manslaughter and illegal possession of a firearm in violation of the articles 265, 266, 295 and 304 of the Dominican Penal Code.
