The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, carried out this Tuesday a harsh discussion with an individual who blamed him for various events that have occurred in Latin America in recent years, in a conference on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas.
Almagro was speaking about freedom of the press, when a young man, dressed in a light blue shirt and dark gray pants, began to impute, out loud, responsibility in fact such as the coup d’état that caused the fall of the president of Bolivia in 2019, Evo Morales.

The individual, who spoke in English with an American accent, rebuked Almagro for the OAS’s usual questioning of the institutional functioning of Venezuela and maintained that the organization and its secretary were responsible for the death of dozens of people in the disturbances that surrounded the coup. in Bolivia.
Almagro, who remained seated in his chair on the small stage, replied several times, in English, “that’s not true, back off,” while a woman, also shouting, in English and Spanish, asked the subject to will leave the place.

After several minutes, two police officers – a woman and a man – escorted the man out of the room where the conference was taking place.
Police sources from the security operation told Télam that they could not divulge the identity of the man but assured that, once removed from the place, he was released without any type of judicial procedure.
