The Sector Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, reallocated 2,500 weapons for the strengthening of the Citizen Security Bodies (OSC) of the country, according to information disseminated by the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (Mpprijp), through its social networks.
The recovered firearms went through a process of mechanical adaptation by the General Directorate of Weapons and Explosives to optimize their operation.
In this regard, the Chief Admiral said: “Here we are complying with article 55 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuelawhich forces us to have CSOs for the fight against vulnerabilities, threats; guarantee the full enjoyment of rights and the fulfillment of duties”.

The weapons seized and recovered were distributed to 49 police forces in the country, to strengthen the Peace Quadrants throughout the national territory.
