The budgetary execution of the present management in the Municipal Government of Santa Cruz de la Sierra reaches 56% as of Octoberfor which reason she is considered low by opposition councilors.
The councilor for the Autonomous Community (CA), José Alberti, shared on his social networks a table of the official reports of the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance on thel municipal budget for the 2022 administration, andThe same one that shows that of the Bs 3,768,835,818 managed by the Santa Cruz Mayor’s Office, spending until October reaches Bs 2,130,929,887, which means an execution of 56.54%.
After an analysis of these data, the opposition mayor pointed out that in an optimal scenario the execution of the 2022 management budget should reach 83%, and in a flexible scenario like this year, given the social circumstances that the country has experienced, it could be considered up to 73%, but it barely reaches 56%. “There are three months left until the end of the year and having an execution of 56% is low,” says Alberti.
According to their projections, at the current rate it will not even reach 70% execution until the end of the year, so the risk that resources that are not invested will be reversed to the accounts of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as is the case with balances.
For Alberti, this is reflected in the lack of works in the neighborhoods, in the lack of maintenance of the roads and other services that have been postponed. “The neighbors are not being responded to. There is money, but there is no investment,” she said.
Until the closing of this note, the Municipal Executive did not refer to this issue.
