They publish agreement in the Official diary to create an agency of the Public Ministry in the AIFA

The Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) published in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) the agreement by which an agency of the Federal Public Ministry is created with headquarters at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA).
In order to generate immediate actions by the public servants of the FGR, in the exercise of their functions, through the profitable use of the facilities of the Agency of the Public Ministry of the Federation based in the AIFA, issued the agreement that modifies the Sixth numeral of Agreement A/002/2022, by which said agency is created, published in the DOF on November 30, 2022, to read as follows:
Sixth. In the event that the Federal Public Ministry Agency based at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport has detained or detained persons, they may remain, with such quality, in said facilities or be transferred to the sub-headquarters in Ecatepec of the Attorney General’s Office. the Republic, promptly and expeditiously. The foregoing will be determined by the agent of the Federal Public Ministry in charge of the investigation folder or by the person superior to him in the hierarchy.
. This agreement will enter into force the day after its publication, that is, today.
The AIFA ministerial agency will have a single service window with the purpose of providing care, guidance and information to people who require a service from the FGR, in which the people, documents and objects that enter the facilities will be registered.
The FGR pointed out that given the possibility of acts that the law indicates as federal crimes in the AIFA, because it is a site intended for the exit and entry to the country of national and foreign aircraft, both for public service and private sector, the need to create such an agency is noted, which allows the timely and expeditious action of the investigative body in charge of the federal prosecution of justice.
