He proposed to the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MTC), the Regional Management of Transportation of Freedom and other authorities related to this issue to install work tables to define the actions that must be implemented.
Enrique Luján gave these statements 24 hours after the counselor for the province of Pataz, Luis Rodríguez Ponce, warned that the Chagual bridge is about to collapse due to the increase in the flow of the Marañón River.

The dean of the College of Engineers indicated that the ideal would be to visit each of the bridges according to a prioritization made by the corresponding authorities.

The director of the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI) in La Libertad, Hipólito Cruchaga, meanwhile, greeted the proposal of the College of Engineers of Freedom, because, from his point of view, the technical opinion of specialists urges.
