They propose to modify the Criminal Record Registry Law

The Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, held a working meeting this Friday with the representatives of the Permanent Commission of Internal Policy of the National Assemblywhere he presented proposals for the modification of articles of the Criminal Records Registry Law.

Ceballos reported on Twitter that “the Criminal Records Registry has the necessary, truthful and timely information for the proper functioning of the country’s Justice System.”

They also reported that both Permanent Commission of Domestic Policy of the National Assembly, and the Ministry of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, will continue to work together in order to strengthen the Venezuelan justice system.

“We are advancing in the Socialist Revolution of the Venezuelan criminal justice system, ordered by our President @NicolasMaduro as a guarantee of the defense and development of the person, the profound respect for human rights and the dignity of the People”, he said.
