The government’s proposal is to make an adjustment in the following imported products: toothpaste, toilet paper, bath soap, sanitary napkins, personal deodorants, Clorox, soybean oil, vegetable oil, wheat flour, canned fish preparations, bread and bakery products, cream and corn flake.
According to the authorities, babilla, sardines in sauce, michita bread, lentils, oil, sausage, national mortadella, first-class ground beef, strip steak, whole chicken, powdered milk, yellow cheese, first-class rice, are already regulated. Sliced bread, prickly pear in water, macaroni and Frankfurt-type sausage, which adds up to 18 products and with the new proposal there would be 32 foods in frozen prices, to be accessible to the population.
The representative of the Executive reiterated that the 17 new products are imported and, in addition to this proposal, it has been agreed with ACODECO to include IMA brand sugar in the basic family basket, so that it can be marketed in supermarkets and shops at a regulated price with a fixed price. subsidized.
