Santo Domingo.- An important group of men and women, from different locations in the country and from various professional, labor and social sectors presented the United Society with Luis movement to work for the re-election of the current President of the Republic.
In a massive act, held this Sunday morning, they explained that the country needs Luis Abinader to remain in power for one more period, which the Constitution allows and the social sectors demand due to the formidable government work that being carried out and for understanding that its continuity is convenient for the sustainable development of the Dominican Republic.
“President Abinader was sworn in with a mask, in a country seriously affected, as the world was, by a terrible pandemic that brought everyone to their knees, however, he implemented correct policies, such as mass vaccination to achieve herd immunity, which It made it easier to control the virus, so in February 2022, a year ago, the mandatory use of face masks was eliminated,” said Xiomara Guante, former president of the ADP, and National Coordinator of the movement.
On the economic level, they highlighted the correct handling of the economic crisis, the result of the pandemic and after the Russia-Ukraine war, with correct policies such as fuel subsidies to prevent continuous increases in oil derivatives from being paid by the town pockets.
In the same way, they highlighted that on the social level, the government of President Abinader implements various programs that impact millions of Dominicans with limited resources, in whom 3,781 million pesos are invested.
“His correct economic policies keep inflation derived from these external problems under control, being our country one of those that keeps the cost of the basic basket the lowest,” said Guante.
The United Society with Luis movement has structures throughout the national territory, in each province, municipality, municipal district, sector and neighborhood of the national geography and welcomes housewives, workers, workers of all branches, in its ranks. professional sectors of all disciplines: doctors, lawyers, teachers, agronomists, engineers, architects, accountants,
marketers, businessmen, merchants and a wide etcetera.
Although they recognized that President Abinader is positioned in an advantageous first place in the sympathy of the people, they intend to take to the streets to provide the PRM with the votes it needs to win with a much higher percentage than it obtained in the past process and multiply his extraordinary work of government.
“Starting today, the salon meetings are over. The Sociedad Unida con Luis movement will be in the streets, in the neighborhoods, in the towns, attracting new voters who are not in the vote enrollment that the PRM obtained in 2020,” they assured.
