They present the first diagnosis of the Metabolism of the Paraguayan Economy

The authorities of the Department of Guairá are working on the installation of an Industrial Park in the Mbocayaty area of ​​Guairá. Due to the strategic location of the place, it is conducive to the establishment of factories and companies, in terms of connectivity and other interesting incentives.

The Minister of Industry and Commerce (MIC), Luis Alberto Castiglioni, received in audience the governor of said area of ​​the country, Carlos Barretoand the president of the Guairá Regional Paraguayan Industrial Union (UIP), nery gonzalez, who stated that the meeting was fruitful and with good perspectives to advance rapidly in the installation of the park. Also participating in the meeting were the Vice Minister of Industry, Francisco Ruiz Diazand the president of the IPU, Enrique Duarte.

This project foresees the accompaniment of training programs from different national institutions and international organizations.

In this regard, he declared that “my thanks go to Minister Castiglioni, for this space that has far exceeded my expectations. We are presenting a very important project, which is an industrial park that would be located specifically in the city of Mbocayaty”, he began by saying.

The park will be located in an area donated by the Municipality of that city, with all the pertinent documents, and with the idea of ​​achieving the establishment of factories and industries. We have come to ask for the advice and support of the MIC, in this incipient stage, but confident that it will bear fruit from this interview that we have had today”, remarked Governor Barreto.

He highlighted that they see this area of ​​the country with a very important and interesting potential due to several factors, one of them being the geographic location. “In Guairá all the routes converge precisely in Villarrica, being connected to the entire country, and borders. We have quick access, cheap and reliable energy and obviously a qualified workforce with trained young people, taking into account that it is home to many faculties”, explained the Governor.

“Also, we are working with the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security (MTESS) and the National Service for Professional Promotion (SNPP), in the creation of Middle management schools that can complement the installation of industrieswhich we want and the one we aim for in Guaira”, stressed Barreto.

He President of the IPU Guaira, Nery González, He mentioned that, from the industrial union of the area, they are following the whole initiative very closely, and even more so because there is the excellent predisposition of the MIC.

“We have a property, and now we are at the stage of advancing with the commitment announced by the Minister that the officials of the ministerial unit would be there shortly, so that they can accompany and provide the necessary assistance to continue with the clearance,” he said.

González further argued that They are open to the installation of all types of industries, and they are going to try to provide all the necessary basic infrastructure in the shortest time.
