Congresswoman Patricia Juárez, from Fuerza Popular, reported that she will present a motion to declare the Colombian politician Daniel Quintero as a non -pleasant person, after she ranged a Colombian flag in the Santa Rosa district, in Loreto.
This act, according to the motion, “constitutes a direct affront to national sovereignty”, which affects the territorial integrity of the Republic.
It also indicates that the action of the former mayor of Medellín, close to Gustavo Petro, “violates norms of international law that recognize and protect the full jurisdiction of the Peruvian State over its borders.”
In that sense, the motion rejects and condemns Quintero’s actions, so he requests to declare him not pleasant in the territory of the National Republic.
It also urges the Executive Power, through the Foreign Ministry, to take measures to “prohibit the entry of Daniel Quintero street into the national territory.”
