The president of the Mixed Commission that is reviewing the project, Pedro Araya pointed out that some of these motions offer solutions regarding pensioners for life annuities. One of the points on which there is no agreement has to do with “untying” this reform of the State of Constitutional Exception throughout the territory, which is no longer in force. They also argue that it is necessary to make some drafting changes in the rules regarding withholdings for alimony.
Another point that does not reach an agreement is the one that says that the highest incomes will not be allowed to access the fourth withdrawal and that the upper sections pay taxes.
Another point is the elimination of annuities or the incorporation of new mechanisms so that pensioners can withdraw part of their funds without generating a greater impact on insurers.
