This Wednesday there was a meeting between the authorities of the Sector Vice-Presidency for Citizen Security and Peace and members of the National Assembly’s Internal Policy Commission, in which the progress made in strengthening the citizen security and prison systems was presented.
The meeting, led by the Sector Vice President Remigio Ceballos and the president of the AN Internal Policy Commission, deputy Pedro Carreño, points to comprehensive prevention for life and peace.
The information was provided by the Ministry of Interior Justice and Peace through its account on the social network Twitter, from where it reported that Ceballos presented the strategic actions contained in the Great Peace Quadrants Mission at the meeting.
“Among the points discussed are the strengthening of citizen security bodies and the Penitentiary System as a strategy for comprehensive prevention for life and peace,” the entity added.
“They also discussed the legislative projects necessary to optimize the processes of the active fight against crime,” he published.
