The deputy and president of the Permanent Commission for the Development of the Communes of the National Assembly (AN), Blanca Eekhout, presented this Wednesday the Plan for the Deployment of the Laws of People’s Power, which is carried out in Caracas.

Eekhout indicated that the national government continues to promote the People’s Power Training Plan, with the objective that community spokespersons have access to the management of laws more directly.

“It is a national deployment plan to guarantee that the laws of Popular Power are effectively disseminated, disseminated, that people appropriate these laws, that we achieve a training plan in the management of this fundamental instrument for the promotion, for the development full of our Popular Power, of our Communal Councils, of our Communes”, he explained.

Likewise, he informed that 22 articles were approved this Tuesday that will form part of the Organic Law of the Communal Councils and indicated that the work tables will be maintained for their debate and subsequent approval, in order to advance the deployment to disseminate this instrument in all the states of the country.

Finally, he pointed out that the application of these statutes will make it possible to break with bureaucracy, simplify processes and deepen the application of the laws, which are the fundamental instruments of participatory and protagonist democracy, “based on the mobilization and strengthening of People’s Power to govern the territory”.
