This Tuesday took place the act of presentation, implementation and deployment of the “Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Investigation System” (SIAES) by A/J Remigio Ceballos Ichaso, Minister of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
Ceballos announced from his official Twitter account that this technological tool is designed within the framework of Vertex 11 for the registration, search, consultation and verification of data related to the investigation of extortion and kidnapping crimes.
The event, which was held from the “Bicentennial room” at the headquarters of the Scientific, Penal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc), served to explain that the “integrated system has an interface with the SAIME, INTT, SIIPOL systems and will allow generating a consolidated database, as well as statistics for monitoring, control and making the right decisions to combat criminal gangs at the national level”, in the official’s words.
During the ceremony, Ceballos took the opportunity to highlight that the security forces continue “advancing through the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, complying with the strengthening of the Citizen Security Bodies and Criminal Investigation, promoting innovation, scientific research and technological development protecting the people”, concluded
