The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led a working meeting this Wednesday with the members of the Bicentennial Presidential Commission in charge of exalting the memory and historical value of Venezuela.
On this occasion, the authorities review everything related to the Battle of Pichincha, as well as what happened on May 24, 1822.
In view of the above, Rodríguez has highlighted preparing the commemoration of the independence deed in a big way, he also stressed that the cycle of this commemorative event is part of the union of Latin America, VTV reported.
It is worth reiterating that the aforementioned commission was authorized by the president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, with the purpose of promoting an agenda of activities and work day, as well as teaching the Venezuelan population to delve into these historical events in the country.
In 2019, the National Executive authorized the creation of this Presidential Commission with the purpose of evaluating everything related to the facts and events in the nation.
