According to the complaints, The incident would have occurred in the municipality of Ayapel, Córdoba, and the driver would be a councilor in the region. Senator Andrea Padilla, author of the Angel Law, made public the complaint pointing directly to the official.
«Messrs Liberal Party Is this jewel of your party? They tell me yes. His name is Antonio Espitia and he is a councilor of Ayapel, Córdoba. If they are committed to public service, decency and respect for animals, they should take away their guarantee, ”he wrote in his X account.
Liberal Party spoke about the case of animal abuse
Before the controversy, the Liberal Party issued a statement confirming the opening of disciplinary investigation Against the councilor indicated.
