With her initiative to recover resources that organized crime deposited and abandoned in the Mexican banking system, Morena calculates that she will obtain 4 billion pesos that will be used to equip and train state and local police officers.

Ignacio Mier, coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, pointed out that next week the reform initiative will be presented to recover said resources, which according to information from the Financial Intelligence Unit and the National Banking and Securities Commission are about 4 thousand millions of pesos.

It is more the amount that exists in the banking system, but it is being prosecuted, he added, insisting that these resources have time without being claimed.

To guarantee more resources for the local police, Mier said that other mechanisms and the economic package sent by the executive for 2023 will be analyzed.

At a press conference, the brunette pointed out that it is not up to him to judge whether or not the national leader of the PRI, Alejandro Moreno, is corrupt, given the versions that he negotiated the presentation of the initiative to prolong the intervention of the armed forces in security tasks. in exchange for impunity for the former governor of Campeche, who is being investigated for alleged illicit enrichment.
