With her initiative to recover resources that organized crime deposited and abandoned in the Mexican banking system, Morena calculates that she will obtain 4 billion pesos that will be used to equip and train state and local police officers.
Ignacio Mier, coordinator of Morena in the Chamber of Deputies, pointed out that next week the reform initiative will be presented to recover said resources, which according to information from the Financial Intelligence Unit and the National Banking and Securities Commission are about 4 thousand millions of pesos.
It is more the amount that exists in the banking system, but it is being prosecuted, he added, insisting that these resources have time without being claimed.
To guarantee more resources for the local police, Mier said that other mechanisms and the economic package sent by the executive for 2023 will be analyzed.
