They place Ander Herrera in Boca's orbit

The name of Ander Herrera has begun to circulate in the soccer circles of Argentina. The Athletic midfielder, whose contract with the Bilbao club ends on June 30, is placed in the orbit of Boca Juniors. The information coming from Buenos Aires indicates that the red and white midfielder, a recognized Xeneize sympathizer, was offered to the entity chaired by Juan Ramón Riquelme.

Ander Herrera, according to those around Boca, maintains a great relationship with Marcos Rojo, Sergio Romero and Edinson Cavani, Boca footballers with whom he coincided in his day either at Manchester United or at PSG. The Bilbao native made clear a few years ago his interest in following the matches of the historic Argentine team on television.

“As Bielsa said, I have the unpleasant obligation to be honest: I am almost 34 years old, I have a contract in Spain and a family that is not very in favor of coming here in a few years. But as a fan I am going to enjoy it a lot,” confessed Bielsa himself. Athletic player in a television interview he gave on the occasion of his stay in Argentina in June 2023 to witness a match between Boca and Colo-Colo of the Copa Libertadores in La Bombonera.
