The Ombudsman, Alfredo Ruíz, installed the event “Ecumenical Prayer for Peace”, in the context of the International Day of Non-Violence.
This announcement was made by Ruíz from the Museum of Fine Arts, in the spaces of the Fundación Cinemateca Nacional.

The ombudsman pointed out that “at this time reconciliation is important in all homes, families, in all communities, in the country and especially on the entire planet, in commemoration of the Day of Non-Violence, we met in this auditorium to make an ecumenical prayer, with the participation of different creeds, different religions”.
Muslim, Christian, evangelical believers, from ancient religions, gathered at the Cinematheque to raise their prayers and good intentions for peace among peoples, in order to end violence, mistreatment and discrimination between the different societies of the planet Earth.

The ombudsman stressed that these activities will be carried out throughout the national territory, sponsored and guided by all the delegated ombudsmen and will also be carried out in each of the communities that so wish.
