During his speech, the Vietnam ambassador to Venezuela, Vu Trung My, thanked the national authorities and social movements that paid honors to the revolutionary and anticolonial political leader of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, emphasizing that it is an emblematic space for the peoples of Vietnam and Venezuela, as well as for peace lovers.

Then, Trung My celebrated the heroic story of Ho Chi Minh; In addition, he expressed his pleasure for this recognition activity to the sovereign and socialist process of his nation, before the independence act of the French yoke.

On the other hand, the vice president of mobilization and events of the United Socialist Party (PSUV), Nahum Fernández, stressed that “the fight that the people of Vietnam gave for their freedom, Today is an example for our country and the peoples of the world«, Regarding the interference actions of the United States.

“Vietnam, we could say in our form of battle and struggle, she is the older sister of Venezuela (…) Today the best example for Venezuela is Vietnam, yesterday and today, even for the world, what happened in Vietnam, we know the sacrifice and the blood spilled 80 years ago and for us the actions that were taken for this independence have been determined,” Caracas.

Then, he described as “tenacious” the battle that Vietnam gave to achieve its independence and sovereignty with determination, before the domination and war of the empire.

Fernández congratulated the historical parade of Vietnam in honor of its leader Ho Chi Minh, while recognizing the process of that country, with a free people before the French empire and sovereignty.

He said that after the lead of Ho Chi Minh, a transcendental change in the culture and people of Vietnam was generated, which represents an example of sacrifice and determination for the world.

In this act held on Bolívar Avenue in the city of Caracas, the deputy to the National Assembly, Tanía Díaz said that the Venezuelan people are honored to accompany the Vietnamese brothers in this celebration, emphasizing that “there is a revolution is a lighthouse of light, it is like our older sister, from which we have learned and celebrated so much and the one we have honored so much dignity.”

He exalted Ho Chi Minh for his ability to teach the people of Vietnam to mark the route of independence and dignity; In addition to “leaving all the strength and indestructible route that today maintain as a free, socialist republic, prosper as a country with their own identity, which has to contribute to the world with its forehead high.”
