Castañuelas.- The team from the external sector movement “Cultura con Abel” that supports the presidential candidacy of Abel Martínez, made murals that highlight the cultural identity of the Castañuelas municipality.
For the preparation of the same, the cultural axes of this demarcation were taken into consideration, such as the cultivation of rice and bananas; the merengue and the musical instruments that identify it, also capturing the image of the Troubadour of the North, Víctor Estévez, one of the pioneers and great promoter of bachata.
The cultural images are located right in front of the patrimonial house where the artist Estévez lived, located on Avenida 30 de Mayo, the same location where the patron saint festivities of the municipality of Castañuelas will soon take place.

The activity was coordinated by the mayor of Castañuelas, Dr. Winston Álvarez, member of the PLD Central Committee, who was accompanied by party leaders in Castañuelas, Alexander, PLD provincial president, and César Rivas, member of the Political Committee, among others. .
