The activity called “Astronomical Observation Nights” will take place on Friday, September 16 and Saturday, September 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The chosen site is -as on previous occasions- the Costanera de Asunción, taking into account the open space available there and that it is a strategic location.
The event is organized by the Astrophysics Club of Paraguay through the XIV Paraguayan Olympiad of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Astronautics.
A cost of 10,000 guaraníes has been established to be part of this astronomical observation. All proceeds will benefit the 5 young people who will represent Paraguay in the XIV Latin American Olympiad of Astronomy and Astronautics (OLAA), to be held in the first week of October in Panama.
To access more information, those interested can contact Prof. Ing. Miguel Volpe at number 0981 220 445.
