Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 18, marks the 3rd anniversary of the death of Fernando Báez Sosa after blows received by young Argentine rugby players.
Carolina Bejarano, UNA law student, organizes a call to make a memorial for the young man’s life. The appointment is at 6:00 p.m. at the UNA Law School, located in the Trinidad neighborhood.
“We make a call in front of the Faculty of Law. First a call to the students but it was enlarged and became a call to the citizens. To light candles, a peaceful demonstration, to get it to Fernando’s parents, ”he reported.
He asked people interested in participating to bring white handkerchiefs, white t-shirts, and candles. There are students from the faculty who volunteered to play music. You will also see an open mic.
“I am speaking with Noelia Figueredo, who is the niece of Fernando’s relatives who live in Carapeguá. The call actually arose after a very important interview given by her relatives. Fernando was a law student, he just entered college, as a reward he went on vacation. As law students we decided to be empathetic, as it could have been any of us,” he explained.
In addition to Fernando’s case, they are going to ask for justice for the case of Benjamín Zapag, which is very similar.
