Anti-corruption police from the Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) reached the seventh floor of the Palace of Justice to arrest the judges of the Seventh Sentencing Court.

The arrest warrant was issued by the anti-corruption prosecutor of La Paz, Omar Alcides Mejillones within an open case against the judges Janet Paniagua, Freddy Coronel and Claret Llanos accused of possible crime of prevarication.

The judges were not in their office and the order had not yet been executed.

The judges are in charge of several processes of social relevance, including the trial for the murder of three police officers on the road to Porongo, whose main accused is Misael Nallar, imprisoned in the Chonchocoro prison, in La Paz.

They also know the trial for the ghost items case against the former mayor Angelica Sosa and others.
