Although the sanatorium has not given an official report on the reasons for the intervention of the former presidentas it turned out, the surgery of Mauricio Macri was performed successfully, and after the procedure he is recovering and in good health.

In that same sanatorium, in 2017, the opposition leader underwent surgery on his right knee, through an arthroscopy performed by Miguel Khoury’s medical team. That was the third surgery that was performed on his knee, as a result of a problem that was derived from a sports injury.
Likewise, when the president was in full presidential administration, in June 2016, he had to be hospitalized for a few hours at the Olivos Clinic because he suffered a cardiac arrhythmia.
Although it is unknown what was intervened on Tuesday, through social networks, hundreds of citizens and political leaders have sent messages of solidarity to the former president, wishing him a speedy and satisfactory recovery.

The political leader is preparing to launch, on October 18, his most recent book: “Why: Learning about leadership and power to win the Second Half”a publication that will be launched through the Planeta publishing house.
