The announced clearance operation finally came to fruition this morning, with the departure of 350 people who remained on Eusebio Ayala. There were 20 detainees, four uniformed officers wounded, and several blunt elements seized, including Molotov cocktails. The avenue is already enabled.

At 2:00 this morning, the demilitarization operation began, with the participation of blue helmets, riot police and FOPE agents, who managed to get the 350 members of indigenous communities that remained in the area to leave.

“We had 50 delayed, of which 20 would be detained, the cleaning work has already been done as well,” confirmed the Minister of the Interior, Federico González, in an interview with 780 AM. A group was transferred to Artigas avenue, from where they will be taken to their communities.
