The uniformed officers were allegedly trying to arrest two people who fled towards the Faculty of Engineering of the UCV
They opened an internal investigation into four officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) who entered the facilities of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) allegedly without authorization from its authorities.
The agents are attached to the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (Daet) of the aforementioned citizen security body, who were trying to arrest two people who fled towards the Faculty of Engineering of the UCV.
In the midst of this chase, the uniformed men entered the higher education house and reached the entrance of the Faculty of Engineering where they had a brawl with people who prevented them from advancing towards the classroom area, according to witnesses.
From other sources we learned that the officials entered the university campus with the consent of the workers stationed at the UCV entrances.
