“On instructions from the President, three actions have been ordered immediately to raise the reward to 300 million pesos for those citizens who provide information that leads to the capture of the criminals who have attacked the Police. Second, the intelligence bubble that had been working for this area of Ciudad Bolívar was intensified and the police presence will also be reinforced, especially in the local service centers,” Defense Minister Diego Molano said.
The District pointed out that the authorities intensified intelligence work in the sector and called on the inhabitants to provide information on suspicious persons.
Mayor Claudia López rejected what happened: “For attacking our Police they attack an entire community, families and children. Criminal cowardice that we will continue fighting until we bring justice,” she said.
