The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and members of the Public Ministry, seized more than 70 thousand grams of cocaine, marijuana, crack and ecstasy.

During the last week, authorities seized 15,329 grams of cocaine, 54,288 of dopeseveral vegetable plants, 425 crack and 96 ecstasy pills, for a total of 79, 129 grams of drugs.

In the joint operations against micro-trafficking, some 435 people were arrested in 356 operations and raids carried out in neighborhoods and provinces of the country.

The Public Ministry and the DNCDThey also seized four pistols, 21 white weapons, 26 scales, 31 motorcycles, 125 cell phones, 235, 167 pesos and 105 dollars, among other evidence.

The actions were concentrated in the provinces of Greater Santo Domingo, Azua, Peravia, La Romana, La Altagracia, San José de Ocoa, Santiago, Puerto Plata, Hato Mayor, María Trinidad Sánchez, Sánchez Ramírez, Azua, Barahona, San Juan, among others.

In recent weeks, the operations to remove controlled substances from the streets have intensified, redoubling the actions, which translates into the seizure of thousands of grams of different drugs and the arrest of dozens of individuals, accused of violating the law 50 -88.
