The Cicpc reported the capture of two subjects accused of murdering a fellow drinker by mechanical suffocation. The detainees are: Jean Carlos Gutiérrez Cabeza (42) and Gabriel José Cuartas Ruedas (42), says the Cicpc report.
These people were drinking alcoholic beverages with José Jaimes Ramírez (68) in the Rómulo Gallegos sector, San Cristóbal (Táchira). That day, January 24, Gutiérrez and Cuartas subdued Ramírez with a rag through which they suffocated him. In addition, they hit him with their hands and hit him with stones until he died.
The scientific police pointed out as a motive for the murder the theft of a cell phone, a polisher, a drill, pipe wrenches and screwdrivers, belonging to José Jaimes.
The alleged murderers were captured once the Cicpc carried out the reconstruction of the events.
