Personnel from Sectional 18 of Ciudad de la Costa received a call from the 911 emergency service where they were informed that on Calle Alpes almost Kilimanyaro there would be a man fallen on the public highway.
The policemen showed up at the scene and confirmed the death of a 32-year-old man, who since March 14 of this year, was serving a probationary sentence for a crime of contempt.
According to information from the Canelones Police Headquarters, the Homicide Department intervened in the case and, in the first instance, managed to establish that a car stopped its march, a man got out of it and fired five shots at the now deceased.
Work continues on the case and the prosecutor in charge of the incident is Mr. Dr. Valerio, they indicated from the Canelones Police Headquarters.
