A 22-year-old man was murdered in the early hours of Saturday in the vicinity of Luis Braile and Sebastopolin Flor de Maroñas, according to the Ministry of the Interior.
The police found him with a wound to the abdomen, almost unconscious, and took him to a nearby polyclinic, where he finally died at 7:30 am.
The case is being investigated by the Scientific Police and the area of investigations of Zone III of Montevideo.
So far, it is known that the victim did not have a criminal record.
