They murder a man and hide his body under a bed in Belvedere

A resident of the Belvedere neighborhood reported having found the body of a man hidden under her bed.

According to the woman, who warned the police through a call, she left her house and when she returned she found the body. The Police went to the site, located on Timote and Diógenes Hequet streets, and Científica agents confirmed that the victim died as a result of a gunshot wound.

The Prosecutor’s Office appointed the official Ana Vellerdú to take on the investigations. The prosecutor maintained that no witnesses or other evidence of the crime or how the body ended up in the place where they found it have yet been detected. The victim is identified and is a man with a criminal record for theft.

Under the coordination of Vellerdú, the Investigations personnel of the Operational Zone IV of the Montevideo Police Headquarters work.
