They mourn the death of the son of journalist Roberto Gerónimo

Lamentan deceso hijo del periodista Roberto Gerónimo

NEW YORK.- The death of a son of communicator Roberto Gerónimo in Chile due to a heart attack on the 7th is lamented in this city by journalists, politicians, community members, businessmen, merchants and ordinary Dominican citizens.

This is the young José Armando Gerónimo, 39, who lived in Santiago de Chile with his partner Javiela for several years, working for the Coca Cola company.

He died at home and his body was found by co-workers who, noticing his absence for several days and calling him without receiving an answer, went to his apartment where he was alone, since his partner spent the night in the DR for a visit.

Upon arrival and noticing that his vehicle was in its place, they proceeded to inform the police, whose agents found his body in a state of decomposition.

Geronimo Sr. leaves this Thursday for Chile to take care of the paperwork for the corpse, since he plans to transfer it to his native DR. It is unknown if the authorities would authorize his transfer under these conditions or if he would have to be cremated.
