New changes in high-ranking government officials were announced on the afternoon of this Wednesday, October 12, by the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo.
One of the most anticipated by the citizens of the country’s capital was the replacement of Pedro Castillo, in the Urban and Home Cleaning Authority (AAUD), who would have received strong criticism for the poor work at the head of the entity. In his place Cirtizo appointed Alonso Filós Avecilla.
Filós has more than 40 years of experience in functions such as developer and coordinator of health programs, industrial safety and recycling programs.
While Carlo Rognoni Arias was appointed as General Director of the
Agricultural Marketing Institute (IMA). To date, Rognoni held the position of Vice Minister of Agricultural Development (MIDA).
In his place, Cortizo appointed Alexis Pineda as the new Vice Minister of MIDA. Pineda has more than 20 years of experience in international trade, negotiations, and implementation of commercial agreements.
In the same way, the replacement of Roger Tejada in the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development was appointed, this position of deputy minister will be occupied by Fernando Castillero Espino.
