The former Minister of Finance and candidate for senator, Lea Giménez, questioned the controversial bill that, in her opinion, seeks to “handle” IPS funds to close the hole they left in the Health Fund.
When asked about her position regarding the bill presented by deputy Arnaldo Samaniego, Lea Giménez stated that there is a particular interest within this whole issue seeing the electoral context that is presented today, with only a few months left for the party inmates.
He questioned the fact that IPS funds have been squandered with bids of all kinds, favoring “friends” of various political clans. “After having done all that, they have the gall to present a bill that aims to close the hole they created in the Health Fund,” he added.

Also, he pointed out that today the pension “is not working” as it should and the current administration is leaving a great administrative messin addition to causing damage to the health of the insured due to the lack of good management.
“Now it turns out that we have to do urgent things to close the hole they created. From every point of view this has to set off alarm bells”, the former minister referred to Universo 970/Nación Media.
In their opinion, what they are doing is look for the formula to “continue pocketing the resources of the workers”,leaving aside the real interests of the contributors and patients.

Considering all the above, Giménez was against the controversial bill proposed by deputy Arnaldo Samaniego. “What they are proposing is crazy, they give it a populist garb to disguise the true intentions.”
