According to the report of the authorities of the Aircraft Search, Assistance and Rescue Service (SAR), the plane took off, after 6:40 pm this Saturday, from the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Air Base in La Carlota with destination to Oscar Machado Zuloaga airport, better known as Caracas, located in Charallave.
It was piloted by Captain Fausto Izquiel. She had no passengers on board.
According to the part of the security agencies, the report from the control tower reveals that they gave him the instructions to enter the traffic and base circuit towards runway 10.
Next, the tower controller observed that a rear control surface of the aircraft became detached and the aircraft began to rotate on its own axis, falling to the ground in the wooded area, adjacent to the Valles de Chara urbanization in Charallave.
