Through Executive Decree No. 107 of July 13, 2022, signed by President Laurentino Cortizo, the Ministry of Health (Minsa), lifted the mandatory use of masks on international aircraft and vessels.

Executive Decree No. 107 of July 13, 2022, orders:

Article I. It is ordered to lift the mandatory use of masks on aircraft and vessels of international air and maritime transport that disembark or transit through airports and ports of the Republic of Panama.

However, the Decree also establishes that its use may be optional for airlines and maritime companies, passengers and crew, while they are in the national territory.

However, Article 2 maintains the mandatory use of a mask on aircraft that transit between airports in the national territory or domestic flights.
