Municipal controls continue
Meanwhile, the Mayor’s Office maintains control operations in different streets of the Cruceño Center as part of the public transport reorganization plan. Marco Franco, Municipal Director of Transportation and Roads, reported that operations are developed in strategic points such as Mercado, Florida Charcas, Buenos Aires and Tarija streets, where problems were generated before the high circulation of micros and commercial activity.
The new measure seeks to reduce the flow of micros in the center by 40%. Of the 115 lines that traveled in the area, now they do only 68distributed in Eight transport channels. According to the plan, every hour will circulate 720 micros with stops every 400 meters and a maximum route of 10 minutes in the old town.
