Montecristi – The provincial headquarters of the Police based in this city, is headless, after the high command ordered the transfer of the commanding officer, Colonel Miguel Antonio Cabrera, who was later retired.
As a result of the transfer of Cabrera Cabrera, the General Directorate of the National Police in Santo Domingo ordered that Colonel Arturo Ulloa Díaz cover that position, but today he is without a superior commander because Ulloa Díaz was also retired on the recommendation of the Superior Council of the National Police.
Despite the fact that the police station in the province of Montecristi is without a commander, to this is added the lack of members of that institution to carry out preventive operations and counteract robberies, crimes and other criminal acts, which have increased in recent days in this territorial jurisdiction of the Dominican Republic.
