The Government will officially launch the coronavirus vaccination campaign for girls and boys aged 6 months to 3 years with an event at the Garrahan pediatric hospital in the city of Buenos Aires.
The event will take place starting at 3:00 p.m. this Thursday at the health facility located in Pichincha 1890, with the participation of the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzottiamong other officials, as officially reported.
The inoculation of the early childhood population will be carried out with two doses from the Moderna laboratory, with a period of 28 days between one and the other.
The Ministry of Health ordered this Monday the distribution of the first 645,600 doses of the vaccine that, according to what was agreed at the last meeting of the Federal Health Council (Cofesa), will be used to start the inoculation scheme for girls and boys between the 6 months and 2 years 11 months and 29 days and give the booster for the population of 3 and 4 years.
