The contest was designed to identify, incubate and accelerate the 100 most shocking initiatives in the region in issues such as Climate variability, food security and transition to more sustainable economic models.
Proposals can be presented by agricultural producers, producer organizations, companies and research and development institutions, including universities and NGOs, that operate in any lending country of the Inter -American Development Bank (IDB) in Latin America and Spain.

It was indicated that participants must focus their projects on the development of products or services that sustainably use biodiversity and biomass through science, technology and innovation in priority sectors of bioeconomy, including biomaterials, bioproducts and bioenergy.
The winners of the contest will receive up to US $ 15,000 to support their incubation and acceleration process.
