They kill inmate kidnapped colonel prison 15 of Azua

Abaten recluso secuestró coronel cárcel 15 de Azua  

Azua.- The spokesman for the National PoliceDiego Pesqueira, reported that the inmate Maikol Ramírez, who had kidnapped Colonel Ricardo Bidó, was killed in the prison on 15 in Azua, this Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred when the National Police and penitentiary agents proceeded to rescue Colonel Bidó, in charge of that penitentiary center.

The information was confirmed by the Police spokesperson, who stated that the inmate was identified as Mikol Ramírez.

Regarding the colonel’s state of health, he said that, at the moment, he is receiving assistance in a medical center, after receiving two shots caused by the fallen inmate. He also reported that he does not know his current status.

In the prison there are agents from the National Police and Penitentiary Surveillance, together with the General Director of Prisons, Roberto Hernández.

It turned out that Mikol Ramírez is sentenced to 20 years in prison, of which he had completed 14 years of his sentence.
