The state Attorney General’s Office reported that it has already opened an investigation file for qualified homicide to the detriment of Román Pinzón.
Elements of the Ministerial Investigative Police went to the scene of the attack to carry out the necessary investigations, gather information from possible witnesses and locate public or private video surveillance cameras that could contribute to clarifying the facts.
The authority said that personnel from the Coordination of Expert Services were deployed to the site to collect the corresponding evidence.
The Prosecutor’s Office indicated that they will work to ensure justice in the case of the murdered magistrate.
At the National Security Council, President Sheinbaum asked all governors and mayors, including Evelyn Salgado, to be aware of actions to lead Mexico towards peace.
