According to the Direction of Hydrometeorology of the Electricity Transmission Company SA, (Etesa) these maritime conditions will be presented from this Friday, February 25 with waves from 1.2 to 2.5 meters high.
The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported this Friday morning that it maintains a warning notice for significant waves on the Caribbean slope until next February 27.
“The maritime zones that are under warning are: -Western Caribbean: Bocas del Toro, Comarca Ngäbe Buglé (waves between 0.9 and 1.8 meters high). Central Caribbean: North of Veraguas and Costa Abajo de Colón (waves between 1.2 and 2.0 meters high). -Eastern Caribbean: Costa Arriba de Colón and Comarca Guna Yala (waves between 1.5 meters and 2.5 meters high) due to waves,” the Sinaproc statement said.
