The National Police in association with the Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor of the province of Bocas del Toro, investigate the alleged homicide of 4 minors who were brothers and the suicide of an adult who appears as the father of the minors, in the Ngäbe Comarca -Bugle.
The event was reported on Saturday, July 1, in the Arionte community in the Ngäbe-Buglé Comarca, Kusapín district, where a resident of the place observed several human bones and a body suspended from a tree, alerting the authorities, who resorted to motors and a helicopter to reach the place due to the distance and difficulty in reaching the sector.
Units of the National Police, officials of the Public Ministry and units of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) participated in these proceedings and in the recovery of the bodies.
The bodies correspond to three girls aged 4, 5, 7 and an 8-year-old boy, who, like the father, were transferred to the Changuinola Judicial Morgue, to continue with the investigations of the case.
