For his part, the departmental commander of Santa Cruz, Rolando Rojas Daza, avoided giving details of the police officers involved in the video, but He stated that an investigation is underway that will identify the officials responsible for the alleged collection of rents.

“This information has been taken into account and we can specifically point out that the case, in accordance with instructions given and following the institutional line, is following the corresponding course and the responsibilities will be established once this investigation is concluded,” he stated.

Rojas indicated that they seek to identify not only the bosses who supposedly collect the rents, but also to the police who report the case in a video which was filmed inside a police unit.
