Santiago. The Public Ministry investigates a possible escape of those involved in the cybercrime network arrested with the Discovery operation.
“The Public Ministry continued to present the measure of coercion, making a factual relationship to each accused in a particular way; That is why the Public Ministry is taking the time to present (the budgets), because there is multiple and compelling evidence in relation to each defendant of this criminal organization,” said court attorney Sourelly Jáquez.
He added that the Public Ministry received information that there was an escape plan by the accused, which is why “preventive measures were taken in place.”
The official explained that the Prison Treatment and Surveillance (VTP) agents carried out an operation and searched the cells of the accused.
