A mine that was administered by the criminal organization Tren de Guayana was intervened in Bolívar by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb), according to military sources.
The aforementioned mine is located in the Finlandia sector, municipality of El Callao (Bolívar), where they retained 102 grams of mercury, a material used to extract gold, according to a report by the Rural Command Detachment 62-2 of the Bolivarian National Guard.
In this procedure, four members of the Guyana Train were arrested, identified as Jesús Gilberto Sánchez Villael, Cleiver José Riquezes Carvajal, Ricardo José Moreno Mosqueda and Williams José Calzadilla, who worked in the aforementioned mine. These subjects will be prosecuted for illegal mining activity and illicit smuggling of strategic material.
Two weeks ago, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) deployed Operation Roraima in Bolívar against illegal mining, drug trafficking and human trafficking.
During that deployment, they arrested two members of the criminal organization founded by Eduardo José Natera Balboa (El Run), who were registered as Dixon Alejandro Escobar and Youser Edies García Hernández.
These people were arrested in Tumeremo (Bolívar) and a panela of cocaine, another of marijuana and a Keeway Horse Kw-150 motorcycle, license plate AH1Y55G, were seized.
Also in Tumeremo, El Terminal sector, the military detained another member of the El Run organization, under the name of Jhoannet Mireles Margarita Sarli, from whom they seized two electronic scales.
Operation Roraima covered the Manuel Cedeño municipality (Caicara del Orinoco) where they seized 20 7.62×39mm caliber cartridges destined for rifles and arrested Eduardo José Mata Villarrorel, alias El Peluca, a member of the El Yorday criminal group, according to a report from the Command of Zone 62 of the GNB.
